Clyde Veterinary Hospital philosophy is strongly focused on preventative care, and we take a long term view to the well-being of your beloved pets. We’re always about what is best for your pets over the longest timeframe.

Dr. Irene Mitry is a compassionate, knowledgeable and professional vet who graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2002. Upon arriving in Australia, she aspired to serve the local community and so completed another Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) from the University of Queensland, graduating in 2008. 

As a life-long animal lover, Irene’s veterinary skills and philosophy of care are second to none, as so many of her clients and patients will tell you (see Testimonials below). Clyde Veterinary Hospital is the realisation of her vision of putting those skills to ultimate use in her own purpose built standalone clinic, with husband Albert managing the administrative operations at the hospital.
