Dundas Veterinary Clinic

Originally started by Dr Terry Theakstone in 1976 as one of the earliest small animal practices in the area, the first building was opposite Rydalmere station. Dr Wendy Cooke took over in 1998 and quickly realised that the old building could not accommodate a modern practice.

In 1998 there were still unpaved roads in the area, and a lot didn’t have guttering.

As the area become urbanised it became necessary to move with the times, and a new premises was purchased in 2000 at the Dundas Village Shopping centre, enabling modernisation, air conditioning, sound proofing and computerisation.
